Kitchen Food Co.: Feeding the Future

Kitchen Food Co., an Australian-based firm, is investing a remarkable $69 million to build a cutting-edge prepared food facility in Hopkinsville’s Commerce Park I. This development is expected to create 925 new jobs, boosting local employment and supporting the economy.

The facility will occupy a spacious 100,000-square-foot building located on Frank Yost Lane. Renovation and construction are poised to start in early 2025, with operations scheduled to begin by the summer of 2026.

Ascend Elements: Pioneering Battery Recycling

At the same time, Ascend Elements is launching a state-of-the-art facility designed to tackle the increasing demand for electric vehicle battery materials in North America. The Apex 1 facility will be Ascend Element's largest project, with the capacity to produce enough precursor and cathode active materials to supply 250,000 electric vehicles per year.

Cinis Fertilizer: Sustainable Solutions for Agriculture

Cinis Fertilizer is also making waves with a $109.2 million investment in a new production plant. The facility, slated to break ground in mid-2025, uses an innovative approach to recycling waste salt produced by Ascend Elements' battery operations to manufacture low-carbon fertilizers. New jobs created at the facility will include, among others, process operators, warehouse personnel, process engineers and general administration.
